A taste of Italy.. Gelato!
Missing Italy.. soooo I made GELATO
(Except with SUPERFOODS)
Ridiculously easy and great for you!
Ingredients:
- 1/2-1 Ripe avocado
- ~2 cups of organic frozen berries/banana
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp of raw, organic, local honey or stevia to your taste (optional, the berries are sweet enough!)
- Dash of full fat, organic coconut milk
- 1-2 tbsp coconut oil
Optional
- Hemp seeds
- Organic, cold-processed, unpasteurized grassfed whey protein (vanilla goes best)
- Chia seeds
- Soaked/sprouted walnuts
- Cacao nibs
- Coconut flakes
Directions
- Toss everything in a heavy duty blender, blend up, whip up, stir it up and wallah!!
- Taste test
- Sneak another taste
- If the consistency is just right... devour.
- Otherwise, place in freezer and enjoy with your friends, family, and for the single minglers out there.. someone you have yet to impress and need a little ammo! Or if you're like me, you'll push it farrrr to the back and forget to mention it's in there...
Adding SUPERFOODS to your regime is an awesome way to sneak some additional nutrients into your everyday diet.
